On January 1st we started potty training Carson. We got him a little potty, which may have been a mistake considering my hubby is disgusted by having to dispose of Carson's urine in this manner. I really never thought much about having to dispose of the contents and sanitize the thing. I just remember my younger brother having a potty and it was the first thing that came to mind when we decided to start Carson potty training. Now Carson loves his potty so I guess it is here to stay. I wasn't sure how the process would go considering he is only 18 months, but I felt like he was ready and capable so we gave it a try. To my amazement Carson has peed in the potty 10 times already. Yesterday he peed in the potty at daycare, and twice today at daycare. He is off to a great start, but I'm sure we have a long road ahead of us. I'm wondering when the excitement of this new venture will wear off and when I will stop keeping a tally of how many times he has used the potty. What can I say I am a proud Mama. There are a few random pics to follow and maybe a short video of Carson dancing last night. He sure did have a great day yesterday!
