The Great Smoky Mountains

Jamie and I got to take a little trip to the Smoky's last weekend! Just the two of us for our 10 year anniversary. It was kind of a surprise for me. We stayed in a cabin, went whitewater rafting, hiked to some waterfalls, and just relaxed and enjoyed eachothers company with no distractions. It was much needed and was the perfect way to celebrate 10 years.



There were bigger rapids than this, but the only shot we got without a paddle blocking the face.

Breaking News...

Well, it's been a while again. New things happening all the time. I guess you could say Carson took his 1st step on 7/4. I literally mean just one step. He has increased to 4 or 5 steps at a time now. He is probably going to take off any day now. He started pointing at things yesterday. He is eating very good these days. He seems like a bottomless pit at times and looks like a pot bellied pig when he is finished with a meal. He likes to throw some food overboard for Syd to eat. She knows she can linger around the highchair at meal time for a little snack. Carson had his first trip to Holiday World on Monday. He enjoyed it much more than I thought he would. We went with my sister,niece, and nephews. Carson liked the wave pool the best. He even got to ride a couple rides. I guess that is all for now, don't have much time Carson is up and at em'. Hopefully walking video on it's way soon.
