1st Haircut

Exhibit A: Carson's mad scientist look

Don't know what was going on here, but like the way his hair is in the process of falling.

Carson's hair had become completely unmanagable lately (see exhibit A the "before" photo.) We decided it was time for his first haircut. He was a perfect little angel. Afterward we spent some time out in the yard playing while Daddy did some gardening. What a beautiful day we were blessed with on our weekend off together.

Update

Carson got his first ear infection yesterday. He had been diagnosed with a "cold" on Wednesday, but by Friday at 11 am he was much worse. He was having crying fits from 11 am till 2 pm. I've never seen him act like this. I finally decided to take him in and sure enough his left ear is infected. He is now taking Amoxicillin. He slept so much better last night. I was ecstatic I only had to get up once with him. His mood and energy level are so much better today. It was so nice out today I even took him out to get a little fresh air and play with the pups a bit.

Update

Just a couple pics of what Carson is up to these days. He is doing so much now. All he wants to do is stand. He is pulling up on everything. He just sits himself down when he gets tired. Then he stands again. He even dares to stand with only one hand on his support. He will probably be standing alone soon. His tooth is coming in more but not completely yet. The last few nights we have found Carson sleeping in his bed in a very awkward position. I snapped a shot of that this morning. He has been fighting taking naps for a while now and has gotten worse with that lately. Jamie and I can't help but laugh at him and the things he does to fight sleep. The noises he makes are so funny.

Carson and Daddy

Carson got to spend the whole weekend with Daddy. They both had a blast. I had to work 10:30 to 7:00 unfortunately. On Sunday Carson got to celebrate Easter early with the Duncan family. He made out pretty well. Mommy and Daddy got lots of chocolate and Carson got several books, some treats for himself, and a couple great toys. His great Mamaw and Papaw the toy in the following pic. He absolutely loves it!

Yesterday we visited Carson's Great Mamaw and Papaw. It was nice out early in the day so we took a few pics outside.



Carson has been pulling himself up in his bed consistently now. I found him 3 times this morning in this position. He is so proud of himself.
